As writers, we all have social issues, topics and stories that are close to our heart. Writing about them and trying to make a difference is the dream of every passionate writer. Here is your chance to let us know what is that ONE issue/topic or story that moves you enough to write about. And why?

Just wanted to inspire more people to submit their entries.. if a seed thought will help trigger your creative juices..here you go .. If you are bothered about any environomental, health or social issue - let's say eradicating poverty, fighting corruption, water conservation, alternate sources of power, disease prevention, child labour, conserving natural resources, or animal rights ( these are but examples - you may have other causes that you would like to support) you can write a short (300 words or less) entry indicating why it bothers you and what you think writers as a community can do about it and educate the masses.

I witnessed first hand the effects of a social issue today. It pained me to no extent. It made me take up my laptop and type my heart out (anyway pen and paper are for the bygone days). It made me mail the article to CB. If not for a prize, there will surely be someone who will patiently read my ranting. So CB, sent my entry... direct from the core of my heart. Thank you for providing this platform to give vent to my feelings.
