On March 6th 2010 Chillibreeze hosted a Freelance Writer Meet in Delhi at the Café Qahwa in Safdarjung market. A total of 15 writers and editors attended the interactive session, which was coordinated by Priya Kaushik, coordinator for the Delhi chapter. The workshop combined, discussions on the benefits of networking with fellow writers in the city, how to write for Chillibreeze and get project offers, job opportunities and trends for Freelance writers and the benefits of interactive courses and if writing and editing assessments can help writers and more over coffee!
Chillibreeze Writer Meet in Delhi
Participants shared the problems they face as freelance writers and the advantages of getting together under the Chillibreeze Writer Meet umbrella to gather the latest updates on the industry and to brush up their skills through mini workshops. They were looking for opportunities to interact with experienced Journalists and editors who could speak to them on what type of freelance articles publications are scouting for and share their expertise with them.
The meeting wound up with the participants promising to share their ideas and suggestions and stay connected through the Chillibreeze online Writer Meet online forums.

This meeting was a wonderful experience to have a face-to-face discussion with other writers and editor. It was indeed one of the best approach to bring writers and editors together. I felt that this kind of meetings help in understanding the latest market trends.
