On March 13th March 2010 Chillibreeze hosted a Freelance Writer Meet in Hyderabad. The Cha Bar in the Oxford Book Store was the venue partner for the event. A total of 22 writers and editors attended the interactive session, which was coordinated by Anusha Naveen, coordinator for the Hyderabad chapter. The writers discussed how to submit samples and write for Chillibreeze to get project offers and the benefits of the Chillibreeze assessments.

The guest speaker David Juman spoke about travel writing and the nature of his work and gave the writers an excellent perspective about the writing industry. This was followed by an interactive session where there were queries regarding scope for writers and how they can market their work through Chillibreeze and how writing samples are assessed. They also expressed interest in attending writing workshops conducted by CHILLIBREEZE and some of them also wanted workshops on children’s books and writing and workshops for children.

The meeting wound up with the participants promising to stay connected through the Chillibreeze online forums. The writers were enthusiastic about enrolling with CB and attending more workshops on writing.
