A highly interactive and enriching Chillibreeze Writers’ Meet took place on the 3rd of July, 2010 in Barista Lavazza, Kolkata. Due to heavy rains, a lot of interested writers couldn’t make it to the Meet. The day however progressed successfully thanks to the handful of enthusiastic minds who braved through the weather and the streets to reach the venue.
Shreya Sen, the Meet co-ordinator, began the Meet with a brief introduction of Chillibreeze. She then proceeded to talk about the various services that Chillibreeze provides its writers for the betterment of their skills. Some of the services elaborated upon were “Career Oriented Guides on Writing”, “Online and Offline Workshops”, “Assessments and Tests” and “E-Publishing”. Ms. Elizabeth Gupta shared her experience of having her book published by Chillibreeze while Mr. Satish Dey spoke about the benefits he attained through the writing assessment tests. Queries pertaining to these services were answered and discussed.
The Writers’ Meet proceeded with all the writers conversing over delicious sandwiches and pastries. All the participants exchanged their contact information and agreed to stay in touch with each other and with Chillibreeze! The writers were also enthusiastic about more such Meets being held in the city.
