Yet another whopping response to our writer events this month! All spots on the meets to be held in Bangalore, Kolkata and Mumbai went in under 48 hours!
Its been about 1.5 years since we first started holding offline Writer Meets and the response has been overwhelming, thanks to you – writers from our network as well as new and experienced writers joining the Chillibreeze fold via these writer events.
Do tell us what you’d like to discuss at future meets, people you might like to meet or information you may be looking for. We will do our best to address all your queries and highlight topics that interest you at these events. Simply post a comment below this article and let us know.
We plan to continue the discussions online on our forums for writers as well as on posts like this one so keep watching!
Visit our workshops and events page for the latest event listings on upcoming events for writers in India.

Hi,
Could CB please ensure that writer meets and other workshops do not clash with each other? The Technical Writing online workshop and the Mumbai Writer Meet is on the same day (26/6), and the times also clash! Organisational challenges are the last thing that an aspiring writer needs, don’t you think?!
Thanks,
Shefali
Hi Shefali,
Workshops have to be fixed based on when trainers are available. Meets too have their own set of speakers/coordinators and venue partners involved, so while we do try and avoid overlaps, it does happen sometimes. Did you want to attend the workshop…? We will be having another soon.
Writer meets are held every month and we didn’t have any writers who told us they wanted to attend both, so I guess it worked out fine
.
Hi Pallavi,
Glad to hear that there are only occasional overlaps. The writer meets are usually announced close to the date of the meet, which may be why you didn’t hear anyone complain – people who had already opted for the workshop thought they had no choice!
As a suggestion, perhaps you can also mail people about writer meets instead of just putting it up on the website.
Thanks again for your response,
Shefali
