Recent studies have shown that employers are today more concerned about the language skills of their employees than ever before. Most of the common tests on communication and language test the candidates on their English language skills, specifically on their listening comprehension (how well can they understand what is being said), spoken English (how well they can communicate with others in English) and their written skills (how good is their grammar and sentence structuring). Many pre hire assessment firms offer these tests online to candidates. In some cases, the tests are also given orally (especially for spoken English).
