The journalism curriculum across all Delhi University college’s is about to change, with exclusion of obsolete topics and addition of some new, more practical course.

From 2010-11 onwards, the college is being shifted to Vasundhra, near the current location. The new building which will open in July this year, is to have better facilities like a bigger AV-enabled library, a proper gym and swimming pool, a new auditorium with a capacity of around 1000, an open-air amphitheatre and a cultural centre.
The college’s cultural societies are its one of the main attractions. Societies like the street theatre society and the debating society have been doing really well throughout DU. There are also a fashion society, a music society and a dance society.
All in all, the college is all set become one of the best,well-equipped, well-staffed colleges of DU in the next few years.

The current principal is Dr. Sunil Sondhi.
