The Bombay College of Journalism is an autonomous body issuing its own diplomas and was set up primarily to help working students. It is one of the educational institutions set up by the  The Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board (HSNC), founded by  HG Advani and KM Kundnani in 1949.
