The IAAN School of Mass Communication, based in New Delhi was set up in 1999-2000. A leading college of journalism, IAAN offers graduate and post-graduate courses in media related courses. The college also offers interactive workshops on radio and communication, TV news reading and anchoring, corporate communication, theatre and public relations.
IAAN is affiliated to two government-recognised universities – Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and Makhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita Evam Sanchar Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.

Being affiliated to two universities, IAAN offers two sets of courses, approved by the Punjab Technical University and the Makhanlal National University of Journalism and Communication respectively.

M.Sc in Mass Communication, Advertising, and Journalism – 2-year course
PG Diploma in Mass Communication, Advertising, and Journalism – 1-year course
B.Sc in Mass Communication, Advertising, and Journalism – 3-year course
Courses approved by Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication
MA in Mass Communication – 2-year course
Bachelor of Journalism – 1- year course – basic eligibility – graduate degree
Bachelor of Journalism – 3- year course – basic eligibility – 10+2 candidates
Admission Information
The prospectus and application form can be directly downloaded from the website. The duly filled in application form can be sent to the institute by speed post with a demand draft for Rs.200 payable to “IAAN School of Mass Communication” at New Delhi.
Internship and placement
IAAN has tie-ups with various TV channels, radio stations, newspapers, production houses and other media organizations that offer students a chance to work as interns with them and gather practical experience.
IAAN also boasts of an enviable placement record. Students have on and off campus placements in various TV channels, newspapers and production houses such as Star News, DD News, IBN 7, CNN IBN, Zee News, Zee Jagran, Azad TV and Live India
Other facilities
IAAN is equipped with state-of-the art computer labs, editing studio, shooting studio, equipment, library, and hostel for students.

iaan ke bare ma likhi gayi zyadatar bate jhooth hain. vha keval paisa khane ka dhandha chalta hai. pichhle kai saal se vaha koi workshop nahi hua hai.
