David, an American writer, publishing professional, English trainer and communications expert is also the founder of a content and training organization. He provides editorial consulting, content solutions and training services to a range of companies in India and elsewhere.

While in the US, he held positions with Simon & Schuster and a number of other prominent publishers. He was the Associate Publisher and Managing Editor of Thomas Travel Ventures’ Official Tour Directory.

Currently, he provides travel-related writing and editing services to PhoCusWright, one of the leading sources of information on the travel industry.

As a writer, he has contributed articles on travel, culture, English and music to publications including The Hindu, Dainik Jagran, and numerous websites and portals. He has traveled extensively throughout much of world, including India and other parts of Asia, Africa, Europe, North and Central America.

Communication Skills & Press Release Writing Trainer

Rupmala comes from a background of journalism and media marketing. She is currently Head of Marketing and Communications of Pathways.

She has been a regular contributor to The Telegraph, The Times of India, Anand Bazar Patrika, Hindustan Times, Travel Plus, India Today Home and many travel and art magazines.

For eight years she was an editor with The Telegraph and since then has been in various marketing roles with leading media brands like The Telegraph, Business World, Hindustan Times and India Today.

She has trained officials of the Government of Sikkim, Nagaland and Manipur on PR writing and media management. She has also held a short term media management course for officers of the Indian Army. She was an editorial trainer with the Hindustan Times initiative for Youth. She has successfully run courses both in the media and public relations industry as well as in the corporate field, tailoring courses to meet the client’s needs.

Technical Writing Trainer

Padmaja returned to India after spending a decade in the United States, where she worked for several years for Intel Corporation in Santa Clara, California.

During her stint with this technology giant, she worked initially as a Rotation Engineer, and later as an Internet Consultant and a Senior Systems Analyst, interacting with software developers, managers and QA personnel across the globe. She worked on several internal and external software development and web development projects as a designer, developer, project lead and analyst. During the course of her work, she authored scores of technical documents, made presentations to senior management, interacted with clients and vendors, and managed geographically diverse teams. Upon her return, she joined Chillibreeze’s team of writers, editors and coordinators, and has worked on several projects for them, authoring technical and business documents, including white papers, product and process description documents, technology review documents, user manuals, online help systems etc for clients from the US, Europe and India.

Padmaja secured an MS in Computer Science from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM (in the US). Her Master’s thesis focused on User-centred design. Prior to this, she got an MS in Physics from Bangalore University, with a focus on Microprocessor Architecture.

Kavitha Rao is an established freelance journalist and trainer specializing in current affairs, pop culture, travel, books, lifestyles, people, women’s issues and all things Indian.

Her features have appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, the South China Morning Post, the Far Eastern Economic Review, Grazia India, the Hindustan Times, Mint and several others.
