‘Doodles and Scribbles’ – the Summer Workshop for Budding Young Writers
Join us at Doodles & Scribbles, if you:

- Love to write!!!
- Would like to get tips and learn tricks to write better, from an experienced real-life writer
- Want to know how to get your writing published and meet an editor and show her your work
- Would like to do something different and fun with your friends this summer
- Would like to make new friends who enjoy writing, just like you!
- Have nothing planned between 10.30am and 1.30pm on 19th June and happen to be in Bangalore!
Note: The fee for this workshop is Rs.500 but since we are using a global e-commerce platform, the payment might show up as dollars. If you do not feel comfortable paying online then you can pay using check.

About the Trainer
Meenakshi Venkat is a former literature teacher and an experienced book editor based in Bangalore. She has travelled widely between India and the US, where she lived for several years as a graduate student. She writes as a hobby and has been a creative writer since childhood. She worked briefly with Education World, the human development magazine, and has written about education and profiled young achievers. She is keen to nurture young talent and help stimulate dormant imaginations through this creative writing workshop.
The workshop will include lots of fun and games while teaching children the tricks of the trade. Feedback on their writing and pointers to help them master the skill are part of the program.
How do you sign up?
Just ask your parents/guardians to reserve a seat for you by making a payment of Rs 500 in our online store. This is to pay for the trainer and your handouts at the workshop.
Then mark the date on your calendar and turn up!
