The Writer’s division of Chillibreeze is organising a career oriented ‘Writing for the web’ workshop on the 11th of Sept 2010 to equip writers with the tools to find clients, research content, write better and keep their audience engaged.
MAIN BODY:
The Chillibreeze ‘Writing for the web’ workshop is focused on giving you tools and practical tips to revitalize your writing skills with training on how to write for the Web as a medium and to cater to the needs of the web audience.
This 2 hour workshop will cover the basics of researching for projects online, reliable sources, different genres of writing and tips on how to bag clients and market your work. The workshop is designed as a highly personalized training with lots of scope for questions and answers in specific areas.
The trainer Padmaja is an experienced technical writer and founder of ‘Scrivvle’, a software support services company. She returned to India after spending a decade in the United States, where she worked for several years for Intel Corporation in Santa Clara, California. Upon her return, she joined Chillibreeze’s team of writers, editors and coordinators, and has worked on several projects for them. A writer who attended Padmaja’s Online Workshop on Technical Writing says, “The quality of content was excellent and was presented in a clear and concise manner. My queries were answered promptly and expertly. The workshop was a great experience, and I received many tips, which would further enhance my skills as a technical writer.”
