Simpler and Affordable eBook Readers by 2010?

It has been a long journey for e-books from Project Gutenberg.

After more than 3 decades, the eBook reader market is seeing some action as reading habits change and eBooks become popular.

Kindle is the market leader all right but competition is heating up as Eucalyptus was made available on Apple’s App Store for the iPhone and iPod and Interead’s Cool-er ( $249) is set to put some pricing pressure on Amazon and Sony( priced between $299 and $359). Forrester’s Rotman Epps expects simpler models, $199 pricing by end 2010 and $99 ones in BRIC countries.

There is action on the cards!
