It is holiday time and so I would like to point out an interesting bit of news that you may like to share with youngsters in your family.

An Indian American Ruchir Shah has published comics covering history lessons on Martin Luther King, the American Civil War and Benjamin Franklin! He did an Internship with India Book House, which publishes the Amar Chitra Khatha and his inspiration to produce these comics comes from there.
Reading this got me thinking. Can we not encourage the creative young ones in India to start writing – to think of publishing their works as eBooks? Can Chillifreeze not facilitate it? Indian authors have made their mark in the literary word. Is there an opportunity for the very young writers to publish too? I would like to hear from you on this.
BTW, we have excellent artists in our design center in Shillong who can help with drawings and we could even convert your children’s stories as comic books! I agree the cost involved for the author will not be small, but if it provides children an outlet for creativity and energizes them enough to tackle their school work with ease, then it will be worth it.
BTW, our company is about to publish a Malaria comic book meant to create awareness amongst the very young. The script is by Nishi Viswanathan, the vision was Ralph Budelman’s and the art work was that of our design center. I will keep you posted when it goes live.
Do you or your children in your family want to collaborate to produce stories that can be adapted to comics? Do you know of children who like to write and would like to get their work published? Mail us and let us discuss this further.
Look forward to hearing from you……….. Else my monologue will continue…
Until next posting then.
