It looks very gloomy because there are no people outside. It is very dark and all the lights in the houses are turned on. There is a lot of green in the picture because of all the nature. The green represents harmony. There is river which represents the light blue sky. Blue makes me think of peace and calmness.
The whole picture makes me feel calm and peaceful. The roofs of the houses make me feel that the families inside are very joyous because the roof is slating and that slanting roofs prevent evil spirits.
It makes me feel that it is a fairytale the way it is drawn. I’ve also been to a village just like this surrounded by a river.
