Poet: Arvinder Arora

You are an enigma , my heart wants to explore more of You.

I know that you are a dream, which keeps going far away as i come near you.

I want to feel the drops of dew, which are difficult to retain in my hands,

You are an ecstacy, which drives me crazy & my lust for you never ends.

You are a longing that i have been craving for since the time my desires were born,

But i am stopped by the almighty God as my heart gets struck by the painful thorn.

yet i remain cool & calm, to soothe my burning heart,

May be there is a way, where i feel you will never part.

The journey of life, is too tedious & quite unpredictable,

In that path, i want to bring light in your life & make it more stable.

I very well know, that desires are like horses with wings,

I whip them hard, to give them a start so that forever i am able to cling.

My soul drenches itself & gets intoxicated at the sight of your personality,

I get swayed away & find myself engulfed in a trance far from the wordly reality.

I delve deep into my wishes & Desires & get enchanted by its captivated effect,

My mind & soul unite & the happiness in my heart begins to reflect.

The starlit night cools down the burning desires & wowhich are ripe,

I will always wait for the radiance emanating from your soul, to illuminate my life.
