This book is the essence of my 30 years plus dedication to the field of Palmistry. Though the journey started much earlier as a kid I have always been fond of this Science and wish to tell the people as to how Palmistry if used in its genuine sense, indeed comes to the rescue of human kind. In this book I have a few of my stunning true stories which will change one’s aspect of looking at this much skeptical Science.

(1) Marriages – Made in Heaven, Rebuilt on Earth
The two ladies stood restless and looked perturbed. I asked them to make themselves comfortable while I began my usual hand print procedures. Just then I was interrupted by a phone call and while I was talking I could see the rising eagerness on the elderly lady, her inability to hold herself was obvious every moment. As soon as I had kept the phone down she blurted out “I….” But I had to stop her from speaking as my first step of client consultation is to take the palm print of the person concerned and only then do I begin any other conversation. That procedure was still incomplete, so…
The two ladies were Shobha, a tall, slim, young and beautiful lady accompanied with her Mother. Both of them sat before me. And after I was done with the hand print Shobha’s mother began “Kalpanaji, we are here to ask you a very important question”. “My daughter Shobha got a divorce recently and I desperately wish to know what the future holds for her”. “Will she ever remarry, if yes, then will her second marriage be a success?” asked the mother eagerly. Shobha’s dejected face disclosed that something terrible had gone between her marriages and that she was still suffering from the agony of her broken betrothal.
I studied her palm microscopically and found an astonishing factor in her print. Her affection line was deep, well cut, long and pink in color. Perfect indication of abounding love and affection for her husband. It also proved that she would love only one person whole heartedly in her lifetime. Further her line of marriage was beginning with a fork typically doubles the strength of love in married life. I was surprised to see that the person with remarkable positive signs of marriage in her palm line was having a troubled marriage. It was confusing to the palmistry study I had done. Using the magnifying glass I finally spotted the ‘culprit’ invisible to the naked eyes. A faint island sat on the line of marriage was the cause off great trouble in martial life. .
Now I knew! I said to Shobha “You will definitely remarry but the person you will remarry will be none other than your first husband”. “He will return to you and you will again accept him” I said with confidence. Shobha, who was quiet so far, jumped up with joy at these words and spoke her heart out in spurts saying “Aunty, you will not believe, but I have been waiting to hear this from any one.” I love Govind regardless of how he has treated me in the past.” “What he did was absolutely immature but my feelings towards him remain the same” confessed Shobha. “I have always loved him and will continue to do so for ever, I do not wish to be with any other man but Govind, please tell me what I have to do to get him into my life. I am ready to do anything what ever you suggest” begged the young girl.
The expressions on her mothers face conflicted with what her daughter was pouring out. The thoughts of unimaginable pain her daughter had just undergone frightened her with concern. It was her state of depression that made her think this way convinced the mother and “I do not want Govind into Shobha’s life at any cost” she insisted. Ignoring her mother it was Shobha again who boldly emphasized “Aunty is there anything I can do to speed up the process of getting Govind back into my life?”
Attending to her overtures I answered “He will gradually come back to you within a period of two to three years”. “Please do something to hasten the time” Shobha nagged like a small child. “Wear a diamond pendant and yellow sapphire in your index finger and this will have a positive effect on your emotional status” I advised Shobha.
I was now curious about the reason for her divorce from Govind despite her love for him. So I asked her the same. “Madame, my father passed away a few years ago.” “He was the sole breadwinner of our family”. “He passed away leaving meager funds for the two of us”. “Mother and daughter had to fend for themselves”. “I hunted for a job but due to lack of experience my efforts were useless” explained Shobha. “We were totally scared of the thought of means of survival”. “Govind came into our lives like a ray of hope at such a time”. He extended his help during our hours of need”. “I was impressed with his behavior and fell in love with him, Govind too liked me and so finally he gathered up courage to put forward the proposal of marriage to my mother” narrated Shobha. She accepted it and blessed us wholeheartedly. We got married and I began to devote all my unselfish love and affection to Govind as his wife. “He too loved me unconditionally and we were very happy “she acknowledged.
We did not have any offspring of our marital bliss even after five years. We had no children of our own. Govind began to stay away from home with his friends frequently. I did not mind it as I knew he would return after a few hours of fun. It so happened that one day Govind and his friends went out for a party and was in high spirits when Govind made the biggest mistake of his life. He accepted to dare divorce me and marry another girl Meeta, a distant relative of one of his friends as a stupid challenge.
Without a moment of thought to the consequences of his foolish daredevilry Govind returned home to declare his decision to me. Little did I realize that he had taken the challenge seriously and that he would never come back? I waited for him but it was futile. His attitude toward me had completely changed for the worse without a tinge of fault of mine. The mere memory of these days choked her while she told her saga. “Finally last month he asked me to sign the divorce papers” she concluded. “I have set him free but am still to reconcile with the reality of my affairs”. “I cannot reason it out” I know he is not my husband now but I have a hope that someday he will return to me” Shobha confided.
I reassured her optimism and asked Shobha to keep me updated about the news from Govind. The two ladies left my Office with a heavy heart but somewhere I knew they would look back happily at their visit. What a stupid and rash decision to make! Without a thought of worry for his wife, to brag and boast his inflated ego! Just to prove a worthless challenge to his friends! The thoughts tormented me even after both the ladies had gone.
Meanwhile, a few months later, Govind began to ache in his new marriage too. His marriage to Meeta was a big failure and the pangs of his terrible mistake started to pinch him. He missed his first wife but was in a terrible mess of affairs, of his behavior. He could never love Meeta like he loved Shobha. He dared not leave Meeta for fear of her brothers who were reckless goons. He could not refrain from seeing Shobha either. Gradually he began calling her over the phone and then even started visiting her frequently. An ecstatic Shobha called me to tell me how Govind had returned into her life. She would regularly consult me on personal advances in the matter from then on. She would never take off the gemstone off from her finger as she was certain of its impact on her life. Meeta sensed trouble in her married life but was unaware of events that were taking place between Govind and Shobha. Worried Meeta had disclosed her anxiety to her brothers who found out the reality that Govind was seeing his ex wife once again. They threatened to kill him if he betrayed their sister they said in a fit of rage. But Govind risked his life to reunite with Shobha. Meeta distracted her brothers from their threat saying she loved Govind and wished to see him happy even if it meant he was with another woman. Soon after, Govind divorced Meeta and returned to the love nest of his first wife Shobha. Meeta suffered in silence and surrendered her husband for the sake of his happiness. His repeated pleas to Meeta for forgiveness were rejected and Meeta left the city and her past for ever.
Shobha and Govind got remarried in 1995. I was invited to the wedding. Shobha looked overjoyed with the episodes after she visited me. Both of them came to consult me again. To enquire if they could have issues from their marriage. “In a year’s time” I told them after reading their palms.
“Aunty it is all because of you that I have a complete family” gratified Shobha after one year when she was blessed with a baby boy. She could not believe her luck. “Your support and guidance has helped me sail through the toughest tides of life.” The diamond pendant and yellow sapphire ring that you gave me worked like magic”. We will always be obliged to you for having helped us genuinely” said Shobha with all her heart.
Grace of the almighty!
Such is the story of two people in love, overcoming all the hurdles in life and reuniting eternally. Shobha calls it ‘luck factor’ and wears the pendant and the gemstone I had recommended to her till today.
