After a long boring week, one Friday my husband enclosed a special gift to me – A Visit To Yercaud. Those words were like magic to my ears. My excitement was double when I came to know that my friends are also coming with us. Next day, we started our journey. Our destination is in Tamil Nadu. It took 4 hours to reach there. On the way to our destination we had our lunch in Salem, which is in-between Bangalore and Yercaud. We reached there and for the whole day we took rest and planed for the next day. The resort was well furnished and had every thing according to our basic needs.
Next day morning, we took our breakfast and moved on to visit the natural beauty. The place was well maintained like the water of the lake was crystal clean, the park was clean, and roads were narrow but clear and even. But one thing I noticed there is that most of the people can speak in their south language. This may be a problem to the north Indians as the people are not familiar with English language too. At evening we went for some marketing at the near by place. Shocked to see that there are limited shops and numbers of restaurants, planned, as this is a tourist place. As we were very hungry, went to have our dinner. Was very much satisfied with the place, neat and clean and was hygienic too. There was variety of starters, main course, and drinks. It is small places so shops were get closed by 8:30 pm, only the hotels and bars were open.
We came back by 11:30 at night and had a nice sleep. Next day we got up early in the morning and with the whole group went for a long morning walk. Walking on the roads and trees are inclined from both the sides towards the road was a great experience for us. We continue our walking till the place from where we can see the whole Salem clearly. We came back at our resort. Our next destination is to visit the lake. We enjoyed a lot. For the first time I experienced the enjoyed of boating. I was little bit scared as the boat was shaking, but after some time I started enjoying that. After that went to visit the park near by. There were variety pf small birds, which attract our children a lot. On the opposite side of the park, there placed a number of hand made jewelry, we bought a hand full of ornaments. That was our last day of our enjoyment. Not only we enjoyed the place but also loved the company of our friends with whom we went there.
It is very important for a person to moved out of his regular routine life and pick some memorable moments which will help to keep cheerful smile on his face. As this trip will makes me remember of my husbands gift and my special gift.

Trip to ooty
It is my first trip to Ooty with my girl. It was awesome. We had nice weather and lucky to get a good hotel as well. We got three days & one site seeing trip as a package. It includes one more day as a free combo and Morning breakfast as well.
The location of the hotel is over a little hill top. Which is great to have a nice view of the near by valley. The open glass window provides great view of the valley at day dawn.
We are surprised to see the good mist on our first day. We spend the whole day exploring the hotel. The Restaurant is having a nice view of the good laid and well maintained lawn which is a nice addition to the morning food.
After food we spent some time in the lawn and visited the pool area. It was awesome for that kind of chill weather. Yes the pool is temperature controlled warm water.
It has a dance floor, bar and gym as well but we don’t find time to visit them.
One bad thing is the centralized heating in the hotel. I believe they are working on it at that time. That is what they told us. It is not at all heating our room. We asked for a separate room heater.
Overall it’s a nice hotel to enjoy your trip how ever the weather may be
