March – June is the best time to be here.

Lahaul & Spiti

Lahaul the land of lamas abounds with monasteries. The valley has numerous glaciers and is surrounded by series of high mountains.

Your article is well researched but it ends very abruptly. Also the opening the paragraph does not hold the attention of the reader. A crisp introduction outlining Himachal as a travel destination will greatly improve the article.

Here are 5 things that we liked or would change/revise:

1. Title: An article without a title is like a person without a name. A suitable title will help draw the right audience.
2. Format: The use of subheadings will enhance the flow of the article. Some formatting is needed to prevent the overlap of ideas. Extra spaces need to be removed.
3. Grammar & Usage: The article requires proofreading to correct grammatical and punctuation errors. The use of 2nd person should be avoided .Since it’s a travel article you must decide if you are going to narrate it in the 1st person or 3rd person. Shifting between the third to the first person disrupts the flow of the article. You may want to consider our Detailed Expert Review or editing option.
4. Language: Since the article targets a global audience avoid using phrases like “you can visit Shimla any time you wish.” Usage errors in the opening paragraph must be corrected. Eg: ‘have a sigh of relief’ instead of ‘heave a sigh of relief’.
5. Target Audience: To capture the attention of the reader the article must have an introduction about holidaying in the mountains or something similar. Since the article is not a travelogue, it needs to be written like a crisp travel guide article. The usage of a phrase like ‘, if you are a nature lover then I can tell you a place you can travel to next time’ undermines the professionalism a bit, making it come across more as a personal blog post than a travel article. The conclusion should leave your audience with a crisp summary of the Himachal experience.
